About Audrey

What

I specialize in personal essays, travel writing, technical writing, book reviews, and other works of creative non-fiction.

You'll find me with pen in hand in cafés, parks, museums, and on trains. I'll write anywhere! However, my current studio is the second bedroom of my attic flat in Oslo.

Where

To kindle a kinship with my readers, to answer their questions (all of which are also my own). Writing helps me to organize my thoughts and to make sense of things.

Why

Writers spring from a common soil, enriched by all the beautiful, precise, and rousing writing that has come before and that continues to grow around them.

Who
The Postmasters Podcast

The Postmasters Podcast

The pleasures of writing are sometimes matched only by the pleasures of talking about it with your fellow writers. Knowing this, Audrey Camp and Lacy Arnett Mayberry collaborated to launch The Postmasters Podcast.

Their goal is to:

  • Share their experience as writers who opted to complete a master's program
  • Discuss the practicalities of an active writing life, both before and after obtaining a master’s degree
  • Utilize their growing literary network by interviewing colleagues, mentors, and legends, and share those conversations with a wider audience

This monthly podcast features interviews with writers at every level of personal success, and representing every genre. Past guests include warrior poet Cameron Conaway, acclaimed novelist Boris Fishman, and writing therapist Susan Schnur.

Full episodes are available to stream or download on The Postmasters Podcast website or via iTunes. All downloads are absolutely free.

Never miss an episode! Subscribe to the Blog. Audrey and Lacy also share publishing news, calls for submissions, writing contests, and do book giveaways, so make sure to follow The Postmasters Podcast on Twitter and/or on Facebook.
